Delete your Goba account

This page lets you request deletion of your Goba account and associated data. Sign in below with the same method you use in the app, then confirm. Alternatively, you can delete your account directly in the app: Profile → Delete profile (this works for all sign-in methods, including email & password).

How to request deletion

1. Click Continue with Apple or Continue with Google below (use the same provider you signed up with).
2. Confirm by clicking Delete my account.
3. Your account is scheduled for deletion immediately. You can cancel within 30 days by signing back in to the app.

What is deleted and retained

Deleted permanently within 30 days: your profile (nickname, avatar, email), your topics, messages, photos, location data, follows, support conversations, and notification tokens — including copies in backups.

Retained only where required: a minimal record may be kept longer where the law requires it or to prevent fraud and abuse and to keep users safe (for example, a hashed identifier of a banned account). Such records are kept no longer than necessary for those purposes and are not used for any other reason.
